Picturesque Setting, Delicious Food and Outstanding Service! Our waitress, Danette(?) was amazing. Unfortunately, a severe summer storm blew in an hour or so earlier than forecast, but she quickly accommodated our request to package up our dinners to go and we rushed back to our boat that was docked at the Tilghman Island Marina. We made it back just in the nick of time and enjoyed the Short Ribs and the Chicken Picatta as the storm raged on. We really appreciate the great service and plan to return when the weather is more conducive to an extended evening at the restaurant. Before the storm, we had already enjoyed the delectable Portobello Mushrooms with Crab Imperial - fresh shrooms and jumbo lump crab and not too much of anything else. If the same Crab Imperial is used in other items on the menu, they will all be great.

The view is what this seafood destination is all about, although the fresh fish is also a draw. Rockfish is what you want most of the year, and if course know that any crab special in spring or early summer is coming from Asia, not the Chesapeake. On the other hand, the place needs a serious makeover, not to lose the local charm as this is a go to destination for locals from TI to Easton. More to get rid of the beat up furniture and tired decor. Service is very spotty and the salad that accompanies an entrée looks like it was born in the 80s. Sometimes it can be downright raucous for an Eastern Shore spot, and the bar area is definitely not for families-- maybe why it's sectioned off. Know what to expect and you'll be happier when you get it.

My new favorite train wreck of a place. I had an interesting time watching that train head on downhill real fast. After seated I inquired about the specials and the waitress seemed most unfamiliar with them. In fact, I told them to her. She seemed impressed. I read them off of the sign in the parking lot. She forgot my corn, forgot my beer seemed stressed about her less than 10 tables between 2 servers and a bartender server. The crabs were small reheats, but for 1$ each I thought they were ok. My wife got fried oysters which were good, but nothing special. I saw numerous unprofessional things with the staff and kitchen help. I felt sorry for the table of 8 enjoying shifts of their meals delivered in odd different lengthy time intervals. I'd say skip this place, but if you like odd servers and funny, almost unbelievable dining comments and antics, then by all means go in expecting a show.

Wonderful food! Started with the Rockfish bites & ended with a fried oyster sandwich. Service was great & the place is beautiful inside & out!

BAD service! Arrived around 7 pm, after the dinner rush. Maybe 10 tables outside had customers. We were told to seat ourselves. Two more couples came in after us, were immediately served drinks & given menus. I had to go to the bar to get our own menus. After approx.. 45 minutes, we got up to leave. The waitress came right over, took our order, & we sat back down. In all, it took 2 1/2 hours for dinner! By the time we left, there were four tables seated, and we had to hunt down the waitress for the check. Our displeasure was reflected in the tip: $1.25 for a $65 meal. I would give only one star, but the food was really good. Especially the home made blue cheese dressing!

My girlfriend and I were traveling through town looking for a good local place with real food. This place had great reviews so we stopped in. The view over the water in the back is unreal and I was hoping the food would match the atmosphere. We asked the waitress what she liked and she suggested the rockfish bites. They were outstanding, real rock fish with a home made batter. We then got the steamed mussels. Not only were they great, we ordered extra bread to soak up all the broth. Lastly, we had stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat, we ended up fighting for the last bite. All the food was real, fresh and home made. That coupled with a good beer selection and a phenomenal view, I will DEFINITELY be back here.

great spot on the water. You can dine in the A/C or on the deck and watch the boats come in and out under the draw bridge. If your looking for a slightly more upscale menu in tilghman this is your spot.

We came here our first night on Tilghman Island. It was close enough to our hotel to walk. They had indoor and outdoor swating pkus an indoor and outdoor bar. There was also cornhole set up outaide though no one was playing. Upon entering we were greeted by a woman and a boy of about 12. The woman seated us and asked for our beverage order. My husband asked about beer and was told that mist people knew what they wanted to drink so she didn't really know what they had. She then named a bit 5 very average beers. We then asked about the specials. They had $1 crabs and my husband inquired about them. She didn't seem to know much about them other then they were a dollar and people were buying them. We asked about the cheese and pickle plate and were told it was an eastern shore thing with a plate that had pickles and cheese. My husband ordered the crabs while I ordered fried oysters with fries and a side salad. My salad came with the meal which was disappointing. I also never received the bread that was to come with my meal. My husband said that for dollar crabs they were decent but nothing special. The waitress forgot his corn on the cob with the meal. The fried oysters were good. They were crisp on the outside and juicy inside. Overall good. The fries were nothing special. My husband needed another beer but the waitress never came back over. I finally flagged her down and ordered it. She never came back with it so I had to flag her down again. She seemed very flustered even though there were only about 8 tables in the whole place and three waiters. When the bill came I quickly paid it so she would bring it right back. Overall the food was just OK. The service was slow, scattered, and we didn't receive several things we ordered. Im glad there is a new restaurant in town because I would not come back here.

Came here in the off season with my family. We were the only guests in the restaurants. Hands down the best seafood I've had to date. Scallops, oysters, crab dip (I'd start a blog on crab dip grades at restaurants along the Eastern Shore, if I could), etc. It's all phenomenal.

We were in search of great crab cakes. While touring Tilghman Island, we stopped in and asked them about this menu item. They assured us their crab cakes were the best in the area. Later that night my wife and I returned. We had a choice of fried, baked, or broiled. We placed identical orders for broiled. Also, we ordered wine and beer. The waitress was unable to answer any details regarding the wine selections beyond the type of wine they had available. She also had no knowledge of what full body beers they had. When our order arrived after a long delay on a quiet night, one of the crab cake orders was fried. She said there was a computer error when she entered the order, and if we wanted another order of broiled, she could have it ready in 10 minutes. I didn't want to delay eating any further, so I said I would eat the fried, even though they appeared almost burnt. The breaded crab cakes were terrible. They were mushy, had no flavor, and the crab was practically minced. Given the apparent incompetence of our waitress, we just let it go. This was borne out further when she arrived to remove our plates and saw 1 plate with 1 of 2 fried crab cakes untouched and 1 plate with 1/2 a cake also uneaten. She said nothing, even though when we ordered we made a big deal out of telling her how much we were looking forward to ordering and eating them. Also, during the day, there is an enjoyable view of the water. But after darkness, this place has no ambience whatsoever. The evening was a 100% disappointment

Food was really good. Atmosphere was the best. We had caprese salad, rockfish bites, crab soup, and seared scallops. The scallops were not well seasoned but the rest was great. We relaxed on the water with drinks on a Sunday evening, service was nice.

5 star on the food. 3 star on the drinks. 1 star on the service. The food: We ordered rockfish bites that were lightly breaded and seasoned which were cooked to perfection. We then ordered the rockfish platter which was more of the same and amazing. The drinks: Probably best to go with beers or something that's easy to make. It's an outdoor venue and most people order beers and shots. The service: We watched 2 other servers knock out their tables and come back with prompt service while we anxiously waited for water, silverware, hot sauce, another round of drinks, ordering our mains, and our check. It was absolutely horrendous to the point where we went inside and handed our card to the waitress since she never came back to visit us. There may have been a total of 10 tables altogether and she seemed way overwhelmed. What a shame when this place is such a great location with great food.

Absolutely Terrible... Sad day to visit when about their entire wait-staff quit. We were never greeted at the door. First major warning sign. Grabbed two menus off the bar outside and sat down near the water only to be ignored for about an hour. Watched two other tables walk out in their own fury. Food was not good. The steamer was shut off just after we ordered our "Steamed Sampler" so we were unable to receive the the crab special we ordered. Ordered a caesar salad and a house salad. Two caesars arrived... Then they were left at the table. Prime rib at medium rare was extremely tough and had a funny flavor to it. Ordered a cup of the crab soup... Never arrived but was still on the bill when we attempted to leave. At that point we just simply stopped caring about our meal and just wanted to leave. Beverages: ordered a whiskey on the rocks and an old fashioned... The whiskey was fine. The old fashioned was so full of sour mix, it was undrinkable until I poured half my drink into her Old Fashioned... Even then she dumped the ice from my empty drink glass and it was bearable... Hope they hire more staff, better staff, change management or SOMETHING! Bill was $95.00 even though our drinks were comp'd because we unable to leave for two hours... Ugh.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!! We went there specifically for crabcakes, and raw oysters. The oysters were the worst I've ever had, small (not small like Olympias, but almost like they weren't ready yet) and flat, practically not there. I left 2 out of 12, something I"ve never done. No comment from the waitress when she took the plate away. Then, after a long wait, the crabcakes, which were just about inedible. Mostly soggy breading. I left a whole one on my plate, and again no comment from the waitress. The wine selection was very limited, and the waitress didn't know what winery they were from. This dinner cost over a hundred dollars, and it was disgusting. I've had very few as bad, and none so costly.
